ROreverse osmosis equipment working
principle:
Reverse osmosis device:
Reverse osmosis is a process that is
opposite to natural osmosis flow. By applying far enough pressure to the
solution end, the natural osmosis pressure of the solution(pure water) can be
reviewed to make it flow in the opposite direction.
The two most commonly used terms for
reverse osmosis are "salt removal rate" and "recovery
rate." The TDS quantity removed by the membrane is called the rate of
removal of salt, expressed as a percentage, and 99 % of the rate of removal
means that 99 % of the soluble solid in the water is removed by the membrane.
Calculate the salt removal rate using the following formula:
Salt removal rate(%) =(original water TDS-product water TDS)
/ original water TDS × 100
The amount of water that can be recovered
for use accounts for a comparative recovery rate of the amount of water that is
processed into the reverse osmosis device. Calculate the recovery rate using
the following formula: Recovery rate(%) = product water/primary water flow x 100
The amount of salt removal of the semi-permeable
membrane is proportional to the TDS concentration of the original water and has
nothing to do with the pressure of use. However, the yield of pure water is
proportional to the pressure of use of the membrane. Increasing the operating
pressure will increase the water production without affecting the amount of
salt removal. Therefore, the higher the pressure of use, the better the water
quality and the more water production(of course, within the allowable pressure
range). A high recovery rate can be considered to reduce the operating cost of
the system.
Soluble solids, organic matter, colloidal
substances and bacteria in water were removed by semi-permeable spiral film.
The raw water is sent to and through the reverse osmosis membrane at a certain
pressure. The water passes through the tiny aperture on the membrane and is
collected to obtain pure water. The impurities in the water are concentrated in
the cut-off fluid and discharged. RO can remove more than 96 % of soluble
solids in raw water, more than 99 % of organic matter and colloids, and almost
100 % of bacteria.
RO equipment is currently one of the most
advanced equipment for the production of pure water in water treatment
equipment in the world. Its operation cost is low, economical, convenient, and
reliable. It is the preferred pure water preparation equipment for businesses.
